During the establishment of the first babycare® store in Kiribathgoda in 1998 the business initially focused on clothing for children up to age five and maternity clothing. However, with the expansion of the company, babycare® subsequently widened their range to include nursery furniture and later clothing for children up to age of eight and now it offers a vast choice of maternity, children clothing, furniture , home furnishing, bedding , feeding , bathing travel equipments and toys through retail operations in Sri Lanka. babycare® (Pvt) Ltd first started as a sole proprietor and in 2002 it was transformed into a partnership business.
